Pregnant Pause

Hola Fashionistas!

I hope you guys are aware that this year is off to a great start for the crop of celebrity couples who are adding to their families. Some stars, like Kerry Washington, Blake LivelyMegan Fox, and Liv Tyler, are gearing up to welcome their second or third child, while a whole handful of others — including Ellie Kemper, Behati Prinsloo, and Bar Refaeli — are sporting baby bumps for the very first time!

This made me think, why I still don't have a post on pregnancy fashion/maternity fashion still? So now that the post exists, let me get to the point on what all we are going to discuss in this post. Your questions about
What to wear (cause just wearing a loose garment/over-sized gown isn't a maternity wear),
What will look sensible (cause you know those judging eyes),
Where to find those chic maternity clothes (how do those celebs manage to look so good?) and the most important
Will it be comfortable? (keep reading)

Lets get started!

Layering helps, be it for casual brunch with your family or date with your friends. Helps you stop being conscious all the time or adjusting your garment again n again.

Yes just your work speaks but its still not enough, work wear should include garments that are helpful in movements and comfortable.

Taking cues from celebrity fashion style, find the perfect style that will flatter your body, don't force your old clothes or don't just buy over-sized ones.

Where to find those chic maternity clothes?

These are the sites that will help you with your perfect style throughout those nine months and also for your new born & if that wasn't enough, they even help you with all the accessories that a mommy needs.

Illustration of the week!

Wear the right fit, fabric & layering always solves most of the problem!

Two layered top with soft embroidery, try to add accessories (large chunky ones) to an otherwise simple garment.

A calf length skirt, because you know 90s are so in! Plus wearing heels while pregnancy is all about how much you are at ease with it, I'll suggest you medium block heels or kitten heels if you can't stay without them.

Answering the most important question.
"Will you be comfortable?"
Fashion was never about comfort, but when you know its just a temporary ( a.k.a 9 months) phase of your life, why not live it and remember it like a boss *wink*

I hope you enjoyed the post
...drawing the line somewhere!
