A Brief Encounter



Hola fashionistas, this week's gonna be super exciting, because I have some special things in my kitty, if you are gonna go at some beach or pool parties with "that guy"! Now this post is gonna be about the ensemble that you gonna definitely make him wear. ;)

First thing first, this is my first half sketch without legs (so, without those flip-flops ;p). Now just that missing, I'll suggest white flip-flops!

So, After getting multiple reviews on this sketch [which were WHOA! or U nailed it! or Excellent with a smiley ;) ] I am very very excited to share it with you guys!

So here comes the illustration!

  Hola Fashionistas! Chartreuse is officially first post of 2016, well I hope you guys enjoyed your holidays just like I did! And my first post of the year is going to be about work wear, I know that after holidays the work mood just puffs off; so well how about adding a super comforting vintage color to your wardrobe? Chartreuse, (pronounced as Shar-trooz) is a color that will just blend in and also standout at the same time, it reminds of a vintage feel but will refresh you in someway. Excited yet? Power Dressing

"Power dress" this came in existence during and after World War I, when women had to work for a living and some wanted to start a new life after losing so much in the war. They wanted a life for themselves; independence and power were their new cravings. Their lifestyle was changing, they   were slowly entering previously all-men environments. The roots of power dressing can be found in the  Chanel  suit of the 1920s. The Chanel suit was composed by a tight skirt and by a wool, collarless button-up jacket, usually with braid trim, metallic buttons and fitted sleeves.  This suit encouraged women to try to reach their professional goals giving them comfort and mobility to fit with their independent and active lifestyles.
